a little seeking advice on shyness

 hello,

my daddy and i have been together for almost two years now and he was completely open to me being a little and now has become an amazing daddy, even though he's still learning about ddlg.

he's starting to call himself daddy and calling me princess more which i love! but it also makes me embarrassed because it sends me straight into little space and i have a hard time calling him daddy out loud sometimes.

i'm not sure if anyone could help or even just suggest ways to help me overcome this. daddy was very open to becoming my daddy and now that he's doing such a great job it's making me so happy i have trouble speaking!

any comments are appreciated!

Have you tried repeating what he says when he refers to himself as daddy?

That way you can start using it and not have to think too hard about what you're saying. Try to normalize it...maybe try to think in those terms more often and it'll become to easier to say in the future.

Warning: The above is just a hunch from someone with very little experience.

Repeating what daddy says makes it a lot easier - I'm still shy saying daddy out loud sometimes but it gets better the more you try to say it :) Hiding behind a stuffie always helps XD

i always hide behind a stuffie whenever I say it! i find it's harder for me to say over skype but when i visit daddy or we are back at college i feel more comfortable! i will make sure to tell my daddy about how i'm feeling and tell him i think i want to practice so i'm less shy! thanks!! c:
