Guest _LittleKat_ Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I was learning Russian a while ago, but I've took a break from it Really interested in learning Spanish at the moment!
Guest ☽ ᴍᴏɴᴏᴄᴇʀᴏs ☾ Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I am still learning english well (my first language is spanish) I would like to learn Japanese in the future. 1
Guest SeraMoon Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 _littlekat_ Russian seems really hard that's cool! I love when people pick the more challenging ones. I studied Spanish back in high school but ended up forgetting 90% after I graduated >< Monoceros- whenever you do decide to learn Japanese, I definitely recommend the Genki books to use :3
wanderer Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I lived in Spain for a few years and learned to speak Spanish really well. I have lost some of the ability (it has been 10 years) but still practice from time to time. I also dabble a little in american sign language which we are teaching to my daughter.
LacesXo Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I was learning Swedish 6/7 years ago, not sure I can remember much of it anymore. I also started learning German but I didn't get very far with that
angel-k47 Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 learning german but would love to learn japanese, i tried on my own for awhile but i think it would be best to get some type of tutor for it. have also dabbled in italian just bc it's so similar to spanish(first language)and thought it would be an easy learn 1
Antoinette Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 Ola! I'm currently learning Portuguese and I know a lot of Japanese. I'm also basically fluent in French. My boyfriend is Portuguese so it's quite fun to learn despite how difficult it is. I'd like to learn more languages in the future, possible Spanish and German but I'm focusing on Japanese and Portuguese currently. :3
Onceuponatime Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I'm learning English But I also want to learn Japanese some day
Princesspoopybutt Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 I'm about to start learning French after I just went over there haha
FuzzyWuzzyBunny Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 Practice, practice and again practice.. My first is English (i studying from 12 years) and now I'm interested in French and Japanese. Is there someone who know easy way, if I can say that 1
Guest Aquarius Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 I'm not a little, but language learning is one of my passions. I was studying Russian for one and a half years, and I've been learning Spanish for the last couple of years. Muy favourite "method" is the Michel Thomas audio courses + building your own personal "vocabulary islands" with someone who has learned your target language (native speakers are less ideal because they often won't be able to explain why some things are the way they are, telling you that "that's just the way it is," where as someone who has learned the language as a foreign language will be able to explain more to you.)Next on my list is Japanese
Antoinette Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 Practice, practice and again practice.. My first is English (i studying from 12 years) and now I'm interested in French and Japanese. Is there someone who know easy way, if I can say that If you ever need help with French or Japanese I could definitely help you out :3 I'd also suggest DuoLingo, I haven't used it for French or Japanese (I learnt most of my French from school and cussing at French people on video games/making friends there, same with Japanese) but it's fantastic for Portuguese, so I'm sure it's French and Japanese courses are just as good.
PerilousRainbow Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 I've been learning small parts of multiple languages for years (Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, German, Russian) but haven't really buckled down and gotten serious about it (which I need to do) because my ex who we lived together wasn't very supportive of it and would make mean comments. I have a friend who had a bunch of books for languages that his ex left at his place almost two years ago that he's giving me because he tried getting ahold of her multiple times about it and she didn't respond. There's a lot so after this long I can't blame him for wanting the stuff she left out of his place.
Guest DaddysForeverPrincess Posted August 5, 2017 Report Posted August 5, 2017 I've been trying to learn French on and off for over 3 years and I just can't get it... i guess languages aren't my thing
