Kungfu Panda: Is PO a Little?

I was watching kungfu panda with my daughter and realized that the main character PO is probably a little. He has action figures, gets really excited about many things. Is really goofy and trust his master completely to do what is best for him, even when the master isn't. I'm thinking about all the pain he went through when master Shifu was trying to get him to quit. What do you all think?

 

Are there any other characters from tv or movies which are littles?

i don't think Po is supposed to be a little, just naieve. i kind of think that being a little is something you should self-identify as, not something that you should have put on you. then again, he's a cartoon and Jack Black is basically a child.

You make a good point, but we don't know what he self identifies as. He just seemed to show a lot of similarities. I doubt they meant for him to be one though.

He does have two dads. Lol. But no. Po has what most Asian children tend at one point in their lives if they live outside of Asia. Identity issues. I identify a lot with Po being Asian American.

That is a great perspective which I had not considered. I have friends of nearly every ethnicity but have not known many asian individuals.
