Daddyirish49 Posted July 12, 2017 Report Posted July 12, 2017 (edited) I am completely new to this and stumbled on being a daddy quite by accident, although since I realise I am perfect for the role having played daddy for a significant period of my life at home as well as work. Question: I met my little girl recently. It's early days so want to get it right. Do I ever step outside my role to ask questions, seek feedback or am I always better to stay in character and use my character to understand if I am being successful or not? For the more experienced daddies and little girls out there what advise can you give me? Thanks Edited July 12, 2017 by Daddyirish49
Guest Ginger Posted July 12, 2017 Report Posted July 12, 2017 You can most definitely step outside your role of Daddy! Just like your LG can step outside of her role to be an adult and take care of things. 2
lovelylittlelion Posted July 12, 2017 Report Posted July 12, 2017 Communication is key! Talk everything over! The more talking, the better you will both come to agreements and understand each other better. :3 1
Daddyirish49 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Report Posted July 12, 2017 Thank you Ginger and LLL, really valuable feedback. I have been a caregiver for decades now and pride myself on living daily with virtue and being of service. My strongest attribute is patience and I pride myself on effective communication practising the 7 habits of effective people as an almost belief system. I have explained to my first lg that I am happily married and have responsibilities. I care for her dearly so in order for this to work I need to be upfront and clear on boundaries and consequences, is this the right approach?
Daddyirish49 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Report Posted July 12, 2017 Thanks LLL, gives me more confidence now. Have arranged to meet her this evening to talk through. She loves hugs but tends to get very horny quite quickly. I have a lot to learn.
