Guest ScarletBlue Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 (edited) There are days in the morning where I love my curves and rolls. And other days I hate it. Growing up I did want to be skinny and pretty. It took me a long time to like what I see in the mirror. But I want to be healthy and lose a few pounds. For the right reasons. But I think even if I did lose the weight that it wouldn't change anything in my life. I don't think any guys will notice me. I'm not that pretty. But if anything I will be able to get a closet of new clothes. Goal for next week to be down 5 pounds. Edited July 3, 2017 by ScarletBlue 1
plumflower Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 Baby girl let me tell you that you are on the right track. I'm a bbw too. I've always been the biggest one of of all my friends and family. Don't starve yourself. Eat right, eat often, and start but restricting a little here and there and exercise. My Daddy has me on push ups and sit ups. I stared at 10 a day now I'm up to 50 a day. You can do it! 1
LittleBabyBunny<3 Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 That's awesome that you want to start making some healthy choices! Remember to do it for yourself and not for a guy's or anyone else's approval. All the best, good luck! 1
Guest Bunnyblossom Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 Lose weight for yourself, nobody else. Focus on the reasons you personally want to lose weight ^-^ Everyone else can eat a D. Health- because whilst it's no reason for anyone to judge someone for their weight, the fat cells in our body can release hormones or affect hormone balance. The hormone balance in our bodies is SO important. Menstruation, endometrial tissue build up, PCOS, weight distribution, blood sugar levels and ability to produce insulin effectively. It's not about accusing anyone of being "fat and lazy". Not to mention the strain on joint tissue and bones, potential cholesterol build up (although obviously depending on diet, because being overweight doesn't mean we all overeat and consume mass amounts of junk food). Clothing- Because clothing brands suck. For some insane reason clothing, a basic human right, if it's pretty it's directed toward skinny little women (well, and chubby ones) but not 'overweight' women/men. So we've got to find a magical unicorn clothing company who sells nice clothing in our size, things that don't look like frumpy potato sacks in various colours, or lose weight to fit into whatever we want. I however chose to just make my own clothes because funk the fashion police lol Your Own Self Esteem- Because how YOU feel about yourself is the only thing that matters. People feel bad when we put ourselves down. So they'll say "You're NOT ugly, you're so pretty" and you're meant to take their word. But when someone says "You're a piece of shit"-- suddenly it IS what we think that matters. Basically people close to us just want us to only have good feels and will turn the situation around to try to make us happy- I guess kudos to them lol But at the end of it, how we feel about ourselves is what should matter the most. And the biggest reason there's negative emotions attached to weight loss is because we feel sad about needing to change because that's the only way (we think) to feel acceptable. Because people are jackasses sometimes. Like we're not only losing weight, we're losing ourselves. And working so hard to change because of our environments and what we're force-fed to believe is beauty. Not to say skinny, chubby, tall, short- whatever isn't pretty. But this post isn't about that today. ^.^ You're beautiful when YOU feel beautiful. Because everyone has their own standards, some of them vary from yours some of them might be the same. We're basically brains in flesh suits anyway. To me, you seem like a lovely brain.. I mean person. ~_~
Guest daddy's_little_shadow Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 I'm a BBW too. It's also worth mentioning that eating right and exercising, if done for the right reasons and in the right way, can be very good for your mental health! It helps a lot with my anxiety. Good luck! : D 2
