I can be really incredibly shy and was wondering if there was anyone willing to answer my questions without being mean about it. I've tried a couple different forums and websites before I found this one but most of the people on them were either overtly sexual or just kinda creepy and mean.

You're safe here. Take a look around. You will find that the only overtly sexual posts are the ones intended to be, everyone is incredibly helpful and kind and I haven't seen any sign of creepy. The mods do a great job here.

I did hours of searching before I found this site. I didn't post on any of them before I looked through to get a better feel for the communities on the various sites, and this one had by far the nicest most helpful people who provided thoughtful answers to every question I looked at before I made my account. I've had a few things I was worried about get put more at ease thanks to lovely people willing to toss their thoughts my way. ive even asked about simple things and gotten great responses to something I thought would be seen as silly.
