Daisy_Kitten Posted June 10, 2017 Report Posted June 10, 2017 Hello! I don't eat grains and I found a cereal at the grocery store in the health food section called Love Grown Foods and it is cereal made from bean flour! I don't eat regular cereal so it is amazing to have something that I can use for little space snacks Mostly I do lots of fruit and veggies, carrot sticks and celery and red pepper slices! I recommend trying to find a health food store near you to find nice treats that are safe for you to eat! 2
tayiie Posted June 10, 2017 Report Posted June 10, 2017 Bake on your own? I know a few vegans who do their own cupcakes and cookies and other stuffs. All you gotta do next is to decorate em all cute. Recently watched a video on FB on how to make kitty paw shaped marshmallows. Really cute. But it aint vegan. However i will recall ive heard you can make vegan marshmallows... Dunno tho.

PrincessLiv Posted June 11, 2017 Report Posted June 11, 2017 Baking is the bomb for little foods! Pretty much all cookies and stuff are vegetarian and can easily be made vegan the Quorn nuggets with some sauce are amazingggg. I also love sour patch kids which are gelatin free. Things like garlic bread sometimes use margarine instead of butter as well. Also at some health food stores there's milk free chocolate and stuuff.
mylittlesidewearsblack Posted June 11, 2017 Report Posted June 11, 2017 Re: Veggie fries... I get them from Kroger. http://eatveggiefries.com/#&panel1-2 They are a blend of potato and some other vegetable and they look like regular french fries. They are very tasty!

Littlest_Bee Posted June 16, 2017 Report Posted June 16, 2017 Hello everyone! Yes. Oreos are great. I never even had them before I went vegan but wow! Some types are only vegetarian (coated in milk chocolate) and someone told me in some countries they use animal fats so depending on your location you might have to check. I love all the cute ideas for fruit and vegetables a lot. I always liked to snack on those. I mean things like watermelon sharks and paprika snack trains, cucumber orcas, there are so many creative people and recipes out there. It's amazing. And when someone goes to the trouble to make those for you - totally overwhelms me. <3
Punkyprincess86 Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 Hi! I'm a vegan, and I just do lots of fruits. Like strawberries, grapes, apple slices, sometimes I do dairy free yogurt parfaits. I love vegan candies I found some vegan gummies I love. Called seneca truly fruit. I love pb and j Sammie's and ants on a stick, aka celery with peanut butter and raisins. They have litlle almond milk and soy milk boxes kinda like juice boxes. I like the very vanilla and chocolate ones. And smoothies!!!!!
Ikneelonly4Daddy Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Gelatin is NOT vegetarian!! This is from Wikipedia: Gelatin or gelatine (from Latin: gelatus meaning "stiff", "frozen") is a translucent, colorless, brittle (when dry), flavorless food derived from collagen obtained from various animal body parts. It is commonly used as a gelling agent in food, pharmaceutical drugs, vitamin capsules, photography, and cosmetic manufacturing.
Guest Lace and bows Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 I only know of one that I can think of right now ..Oreos!!
DaddysGhoul Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 I'm neither veggie or vegan. But I'm a chef by trade who adores cooking with veggies and I adore veggie lasagna, fruit salads especially with coconut yoghurt, sorbets, agar-agar set jellies and funnies and you can make loads of cute little sculptures out of fruit and veg with skewers to hold them together. 2
ProfessorDaddy Posted May 6, 2018 Report Posted May 6, 2018 Oreos are indeed vegan. Not something they advertise themselves, but widely know among most vegans, apparently.
Guest Dulci Posted May 7, 2018 Report Posted May 7, 2018 (edited) Vegetarian here who likes to avoid dairy when I can... I find it really easy honestly. My diet consists of pizza, lots of salads, baked potatos, stuffed peppers... just all sorts. One thing I'd recommend are the quorn "chicken" nuggets - I don't eat quorn that often, but always have some in my freezer for lazy days. Snack wise - Oreos, nuts (I could eat a bucket of cashews), veggie sticks and hummus, pickled gherkins are all good shouts. ALWAYS have a jar of gherkins in my fridge for when the munchies appear. And for favourite drink (as it was not an option) GOOD old water (well not old water.. that'd be yucky, but you understand) Edited May 7, 2018 by Dulci
