softangel Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 hello! <3 in a few months im going off to college and will be rooming with a stranger in a dorm. i'm worried i'm going to repress my little space it's not exactly normally to suck on a pacifier, act like a toddler, and do most little related activities in front of somebody i will barely know! let alone if i were to do them in front of my best friend! does anyone have suggestions for what kind of activities i can do when i feel myself falling into little space at college? i don't want the activities making me look completely childish and weird. i want to feel happy and not turn it into something i will be afraid of. keep in mind that whenever she has class and when i don't have class at the same time that doesn't mean i'll be in little space. i slip into little space randomly so it's not something i can exactly plan out or time! thank you! ~softangel~ 3
TeddyBearDaddy21 Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 I can make a suggestion on the pacifyer part. Try just a normal ring pop candy as a substitute if you're worried about others around you. My ex little used this when she was working to divert others judgmental attention from the habit of her having a pacis her mouth. Hope this was helpful. C:

I don't live alone, either, so being little is pretty tricky sometimes. Here's a couple of ideas that I have/use! 1. I love baths/showers because I get to be alone for a few minutes and use my favorite soap. 2. Coloring! It's not super weird, especially now that they have adult coloring books (you can even probably find a bunch at a local dollar store). Otherwise there's coloring apps or websites. 3. Wearing cute things, putting my hair in pigtails/braids! (socks/underwear is about as discreet as you can get with this, but you can still feel little). 4. I suck my thumb a lot because I don't have a paci. It's pretty discreet, and nobody knows if they can't see my face. 5. Little space games!! These can be games on the computer, on your phone, or on a console! My daddy just bought me a 3DS, and I love it! There's lots of options, there, and if you're looking for some ideas you can search the forum for "little games" and get some good ideas. 6. Stuffed animals. So many stuffed animals. 7. You could always go on a walk. Maybe take a stuffed animal with you in a backpack, or bring your phone and go pokemon hunting! 8. Music! Melanie Martinez is a popular artist around here, but there's tons of other ones that I'm sure can get you into littlespace! I love anything that makes me dance, but you can make a playlist of your own personal favorites and pop in some headphones. 9. If you have a SO, you can always draw them a picture or call them. If you act all "cutesy" on the phone with them, you might annoy your roommate, but they probably won't think you're weird. 10. Cartoons cartoons cartoons cartoons cartoons 11. Youtube! There's lots of little youtubers that I like a lot. 12. While I don't like the social side of tumblr (I find it toxic), I do love some of the littlespace blogs! Looking through all the cutesy stuff is really fun! Just be sure to stay away from certain different groups. They're filled with hate and they make me sad (nT^Tn) 13. Think of some other things that make you feel little now, or activities that you like doing now! Then think of ways to do them discreetly. I dunno, I think you could think of some great ideas there. Really, for a lot of "childish" behavior, society doesn't look down on it. Nobody cares if you like coloring or cartoons or jump up and down when you're excited. They're just cute quirks. Most people will just think you're childish and vanilla people won't think you're into a sub-category of bdsm. 1

lavenderxdoll Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 Cute bedsheets/blankets, lot's of adults like cartoons and disney so it won't look that weird. I don't think stuffies will look weird either. Also buy some little snacks. And if it makes you feel better I've had a roomate in uni who was 'childish' (hyper and excitable, loved disney, loved unicorns, loved pink, ate sweets) and I'm pretty sure they weren't a little or even knew about it so it probably won't look that unusual. If you be yourself you will find similar people to make friends with, little or not!
