Anybody here like catching bugs as much as I do?

I'm a bit obsessed I love learning about them and I think they're oh so cute because they're so tiny. :3

I often go outside just to look for them and I keep some as pets.

For instance, the other day I visited a petstore and found that they were selling silkworms as feeder insects. They had turned into cocoons. The man who worked there told me I could take them for free because they were about to toss them out anyway. So I rescued 7 cocoons. One of them has hatched. It's a white moth. I named him Bunny because he is white and fluffy and his antennae remind me of rabbit ears.

I have some pet superworms (which btw aren't worms but the larvae of beetles) and one has grown into a lovely darkling beetle. He doesn't seem to like the light so I'm calling him Nosferatu because vampires hate sunlight.

So, who here isn't scared of bugs?

I love bugs, too! I wouldn't say I have a passion for them, more like I'll rescue spiders if I see they're in trouble. That's so cool that you love them so much, though!! I love hearing about people's passions. :3

I like most bugs, but I can't stand house cintipedes. They creep me right out!

I don't know if I'd say I like or dislike bugs, cause I'm sorry but I kill them when they are causing issues, some bugs scare me(like stinging biting ones), however I really like learning and bugs are actually really freaken interesting... So I guess I'll go with a love/hate thing lol I don't know if I'd keep them as pets but hunting for bugs can be really fun. Not gonna lie reading your post made me think of those little bug catcher kits for kids, I use to play with them all the time as a kid lol
