I bet that she dances. I bet that she's traveled.

I bet she says things that leaves everyone baffled.

I bet that she cries but she never regrets it.

Her smile is beguiling. Her life's copasetic.

I bet that she studies, and wishes and worries,

And listens and loves with conviction and cunning.

Funny and furtive, a furious force,

Her skeletons dwell behind dubious doors.

I'm guessing her strength has been forged in a fire.

I'm sure she's informed, and adored and desired.

I bet that she's given as good as she's gotten.

She's cool in a pickle, a pinch or a problem.

Often she probably stares at the stars

With cards in her hands, not a care in heart.

I dare to believe she has better ahead.

There's a breathe of fresh air in whatever she's said.
