Hi!!

I'm feeling so sad at the moment... my husband & I recently separated and are getting divorced.. he never liked my little side and avoided all talk of ddlg - he hated it! I was then casually dating a guy and he turned out he was super excited about ddlg as he had always wanted to try it... he has now told me that he's moving away with work and he just wants to be friends (I'm oddly more broken up about this than my marriage ending!!)

So I find myself single, alone, so super busy with the children and work and falling deeper and deeper into depression that it's been impossible to get into little space!

Why does it have to be so hard? I just want to play and colour and have my hair played with.... is that a lot to dream of? I just want a cuddle :(

Well, cheating has never been a good option. But that to the side. I believe you will eventually find a daddy who is willing to take care of you. It maybe just has to take some time.

We all go through busy stages or emotional stages that make us feel sad or where we find it difficult to be ourselves.

While I dont personally have a designated little space there are times that I have a very heavy load going on and dont get time to do the things I enjoy.

Try making some personal time for yourself. Even if its just a half hour. Do things that you normally enjoy in your little space even if you don't feel 100% into it. Just maintaining that time for you will help.

I wouldn't look into a new relationship right away, but make some little friends and hang out online with like minded people. Expand your social network. Having support is huge and will make you feel a little more like yourself.

Take time for yourself! Even if its just 10 minutes or 20... when the kids go to sleep do something just for you! Color books, music, cuddle with stuffies or yoga (yoga it's what helps me the most when I'm depressed). And do be afraid to ask for help! If you see that you are not getting better go to a professional... There's no shame in seeking help.

All my love! And if you need someone to talk just pm me! Hope you feel better soon!
