Hi friends!

I hope you are having a fantastic day! So I am flying to LA on Saturday, my first flight in 3 years. Now, I'm PETRIFIED of flying, because of a bad experience in the air over Philadelphia. It was a compact plane, only sat 12 people, and it was horrid turbulence. Now I'm scared of flying.

In order to help me, Daddy has suggested that I take anti-anxiety meds, so that I would sleep on the plane. But I would rather be distracted. So I was told by Daddy to make a checklist of what I want to bring to LA. What do you guys recommend for a Little to bring on a plane?

The most important thing, a big stuffie. So you can cuddle it when you feel anxiety coming up.

Do you have soundproof headphones and an iPad? If so, download enough cartoons/movies to last the duration of the flight. Watch them the whole time and hold your Daddy's hand. Before you know it, it will be over!:)

So excited for your amazing trip.

I suggest that you wear your pajamas or anything that is the most comfortable clothes you love. You don't have to care what anyone thinks, wear a onesie if it makes you feel secure.

Bring your blankie to cuddle with and a few stuffies.

Have your daddy record himself reading you little stories so you can listen to his voice as you fly. It will be like he is with you.

So many good wishes for you and your Daddy for such a fabulous future. Hugs

a colouring book and crayons! 'adult' colouring books are so popular now that no one will look at you funny if you have a regular one, and if a fellow passenger does look at you weird, you can say you didn't want to bring pencil crayons onto the plane because you weren't sure if you could take a sharpener. not to mention adult colouring books have such small things to colour that the slightest bit of turbulence would send the pencil crayon flying (get it cause of the plane) out of the lines. good luck with the flight! i hope it's super uneventful and all goes well!

whenever i fly, i always end up saying something stupid and suspicious to the security people. when i flew home for spring break, i beeped going through so they asked me to take off my shoes and i actually said "that's okay, i don't have anything in them anyway." really lia.. really? something about going through security makes me feel like a criminal
