  • A phone/tablet/laptop if you have internet access there (loaded with games/music/videos if not)

Stuffies!! They can keep you company!

Everyday little stuff (if you use a bottle/paci/sippie bring that!)

Toys!

Things that you like when you're big! (Journals, Knitting Supplies, etc.)

I take one of my stuffies everywhere! Small things like pacis are easy enough to bring as well. Bring whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Most importantly enjoy and have fun with your daddy! Yay

First off congratulations but I would suggest a small DVD/Blu Ray player to watch your Disney movies on. Unless he already has one then just bring your favorites. If you have a favorite blanket or sippy cup that helps you be little. That's the best suggestions I got and I hope you two have fun!!!

Thanks Georgia, we're both super excited. I have a PS3 in the bedroom hooked to a 40" tv and a PS4 hooked up to a 32" in the living room

So blu ray/dvds aren't a worry. More things to keep her occupied while I'm working 10/14 hr days

For sure bring a stuffie if you're into them! And I take a fluffy blanket with me everywhere I go. I enjoy coloring so I would need multiple coloring books.

Congrats! :D This is such an exciting time!

I would bring your favorite stuffie, a DVD player or laptop and your favorite movies (I download a lot of Disney movies when I go places, and watch them on my laptop), your essential little things (sippy, paci, blankie, if you do diapers, don't forget them!). A picture book you like that Daddy can read to you (fairy tales are fun!). If you like things like bubbles or puzzles. Barbies are fun to play with too! <3

Bring some adult things you like too. Books, video games, oh, and clothes. Clothes are important. xD

So cited for youuuuuu!

You are going to have the bestest time.

Depending on where you are on your visit, your Daddy could set up a treasure hunt for you around the house, in the yard or even around the neighborhood. Its so much fun for him to arrange and even more fun when you get to tell him what you found on his list. I like the "I Spy" kind of treasure hunt..that means you don't have to collect anything tangible. Maybe just a list of silly things, like how many red cars pass in 5-10 minutes, if there are pretty birds to watch he could ask you to choose 5 and to take pictures of them on your phone. The goal is when you are done with your treasure hunt you see Daddy's world more like he sees them. Daddy you can get really creative on some or others really simple. Its all fun and will keep her engaged and learning more about you and where you live.

I also suggest that you keep a diary of your visit. Its so nice to record things as you are experiencing them. Then you will read your diary read and reread forever. Its also a great way to record things that come up that you might not have thought of being apart, but now that you are together you can talk about it.

Maybe you want to plan a special meal that you prepare for your Daddy when he is hungry and comes home from a long day at work. You can plan ahead by giving the ingredient list to your Daddy to shop for. This is a super way to learn more about how each of you are about food. Food is such a way of bonding and cooking even makes it more special. It dosn't have to be fancy or expensive. Even if you don't cook at all like me, just you trying something simple will be a huge success.

Take lots and lots of pictures. You can make an online private tumblr of your trip like a scrap book. If you want, make a scrap book, collecting little things from your stay. You can glue so many things into the book...a flower that you dried from the yard, a small lock of your and Daddy's hair, personal things that you will cherish.

Daddy. it might be nice to have a female friend take PrincessLex on an outing to the local places that girls like. I am certain it will be such a cheerful way to learn about where you live and have some female bonding time too. She will be so excited to show you what she found and places that were fun.

PrincessLex, you might like to do some research on where Daddy lives so you can explore places of interest not too far from his place. Is there a bus system that you can take to the shops, library, museum, art gallery...? Something that will give you a sense of independence and occupation.

Oh golly gosh, I am so cited for you both. Please let us know all about your trip. Hugs

We have plans of doing fun little cooking with and we also have a full day planned as well.and I took the day off to take her to the airport and see her off. It's the couple days that I do have to work are going to be kinda boring because I work really long days. I love all your ideas aside from the females friends because I really don't have any because I work so much. I don't really have many "social friends". Just guys I ride motorcycles with. Which is one thing she's expressed she's not ready for, yet. I'm sure we'll have lots of fun like we always do and we'll find her plenty to do.
