NewDaddy94 Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 Hey.. While I'm not a little, I do have some experience with depressions, and I don't think there's anything odd about the feelings you're describing; it's perfectly natural that you are more emotional and needy and easily saddened, when going through a depression. The important thing, in my humble opinion, is that you try to remain as positive as possible (although I know this is pretty much impossible to control when depressed) and remember that there's nothing "wrong" about feeling the way you do. Without knowing either of you, I'm sure your Daddy doesn't think you're annoying him (despite what the bad thoughts in your head tell you), I bet he's probably only happy that he gets to be there for you, and care for you - even through the tough times. Like Abstraction said, this is a big part of what being a Daddy is; to be there to comfort our little princess(es) when they need us. I hope things get better for you soon Take care..
kiss.it.pwease Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 Hi. I dealt with depression before but my bigger issue is my anxiety. I have a loooots of anxiety attacks when I don't give my little side some time, or when I try to be big girl for too long with no break because I want to fit in. So I understand. I think maybe, the best way is to have some way to warn your daddy u are having a bad day. Like send a picture of your pinky finger and then he will know u need more support that day. But I am no expert, so don't listen too much to me. 1
Roozee Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 I go through the same thing! Even the part where daddy has to go to bed. I have cried because he had to go, and I also felt like I was annoying him. But your post seems to describe exactly what I go through when I'm depressed as well, so you're not alone! I would recommend talking to your daddy about this because I did this with mine and now he understands why I get in that kind of mood sometimes. Good Luck!
KindaCuteBunny Posted May 27, 2017 Report Posted May 27, 2017 I know what you mean. You aren't alone <3
Boyprincess Posted May 27, 2017 Report Posted May 27, 2017 I really relate to this. I've been struggling with bipolar depression for awhile now and when I either have a bad low or even a manic high I feel super clingy and I easily fall into little space. It's really hard not having a Daddy right now because I'm not used to having to handle these things alone
