Guest Wolfsbabylove Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Would you like to see information other than the resources we have now? More shops dedicated to little gear and DDlg related items? Maybe more community munches, play groups, and workshops? I have noticed theres a lack of DDlg community in my area and I just wanted to see others opinions. What, if anything, would you like to see in the DD/lg community?
Little Illy Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 I've actually started two of those examples in the past - a shop and attempted to create the awareness week which (my goal) was a stepping stone to munches and meetings. Unfortunately, I think, this community is still very much looked at sideways from a lot of people. I'm not saying community members, but there are still a vast majority of people who look at the negative stigma behind DDlg instead of educating themselves on to what it really is. And because of this, I feel as if most of the community is too nervous to take that first step. And rightly so. I know I am in some regard. What I would love to see in this community is the freedom to be who you are without worrying what others think. A feeling of confidence and connection through our community as well as those outside. Essentially, what I think we need, is time. More and more time for our presence to be accepted and understood. But then again, I don't know too much and can be completely off base

I would love to see the community expand like the other BDSM communities have but I suppose ours is more misunderstood. Edited April 19, 2017 by Wolfsbabylove
