I know there's a thread for lies but today I remembered something I believed as a kid lol and I was like I wonder what other ridiculous things people believed or still believe thatvare true I don't remember the one from when I was a kid cause of pregnancy brain but when I do remember I'll tell you guys!

When I was a kid my parents told me that if I ate fruit's seed it will grow in your stomach so I that I wouldn't eat it lol and also if you open an umbrella inside it would rain inside the house idek why they told me that one.

When I was little my older brother used to tell me stories to scare me. One was that if I slept on my back, with my tummy facing up, a hooded monster would come at night to get me and put me in a sack to take me away. Every time he said he said goodnight to me he'd say "remember not to sleep on your back Ari" xD I honestly believed him but obviously don't any more...but I can't actually sleep on my back to this day lmao

There's a courier company here called TNT, for many years as I child I thought those trucks transported Dynamite around the country. Quite what people were doing with that much explosives I never really knew.
