Introducing People To DDLG!

Hello! I'm new to the site but not so much to DDLG, I am hoping to make some friends and this is my first post  
I'm a little and have been for years. My current relationship knows about my ''little space'' but now I am wanting to ask for things such as rules / punishments / general caregiving? Mostly opening up further about the lifestyle. 

I was wondering how other people introduce their partners into DDLG if they wasn't involved before, or how they got into DDLG themselves  
I don't want to freak them out or have them judge me for it but It feels weird not having DDLG involved even a little bit.
