Unicornprincess93 Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 So i was looking at a personal earlier and someone had commented on it (it was for a LDR little) and someone posted under it why would you want to be a long term little what if someone records you on skype and shares it on youtube.. so basically i was curious if this had ever happened to anyone or was this guy being synical? does anyone ever worry about something like this happening to them?
DaddyMs Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 I can't say that's ever happened in my relationships but then again, I believe that what goes on between two people should be kept private. I'll be honest though, I'm not even sure if that's possible with skype- the recording part I mean. I've never seen any options to record or save a video chat on that platform. Maybe someone else knows differently.
DomDaddyBear Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 You can make a screen capture from everything. There are Skype recorders. Showing a snap on Snapchat isn't safe either. You can always Screenshot it. Always make sure you know who you're sending stuff you don't want to end somewhere on the Internet. 2
DaddyMs Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 thanks Bear; I wasn't aware of skype recorders 1
Frog Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 Not to suggest anyone record Skype videos, but it's very easy. Screen capture software can do it, as can many broadcast software. We've used them in the past (with permission) to do a sort of news broadcast look. It's very easy then to stream your output to a video file instead of a live stream online. Snapchat recorders can be found that don't alert the other person. I'm not saying this to scare anyone or suggest anyone do it, just be aware that these things are out there. And they're easy to get.
blegoo Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 That's why you shouldn't send naughty pics or videos unless you've grown to trust them over time. Even then it's no guarantee that they won't leak anything so you just need to be super careful with what you do.
littlebylittle Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 Everything you send or stream (e.g. skype) can be very easily recorded. Even if you trust the pic, don't forget the computer of your partner can be hacked, a phone can be stolen, etc. Also be aware that's is also possible to send a fake stream of video to someone. It's even possible to record you and use your video stream to impersonate you on Skype. I wonder if these issues of safety does not deserve a special topic. Anyway, be careful. 1
Guest Daddy Darkside Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 you should always be careful, but lets be honest. there are millions of sexts going on every moment around the world, and it doesnt really seem to be a huge problem although it does happen. Bottom line. you should know the person at least
Guest x77 Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 I've seen it happen way too much to not be paranoid about something like that. If you do end up on Youtube I think (correct me if I'm wrong) they can actually be contacted to have the video taken down for slander - if it's just one video and it doesn't go viral or something like that. But that would be very stressful to deal with. Be careful who you trust
