Are you going to be gone for a bit and your Little is bored? Get a few supplies together and let her make a mini-Zen Garden.  They're super fun to put together; they just require a few things:

a shallow bowl, shallow square container- anything shallow that is leak proof
some sand (can be store bought or beach sand
a few rocks, decorative items such as small fairy items, doll items, whatever your Little likes


Have your Little put the sand in the bowl/container, smooth it out and then she can add the stones, small plants
if she likes, decorative items- just don't let it get too full with items. you want space where there is bare sand.

Then give her a cpl of toothpicks, an old fork to rake in the sand and draw pretty patterns with it.
