How did you become a little/caregiver?

I met a guy on a dating app, and when we were talking about kinks and things, he said he was a daddy dom. I didn't know what that meant, but of course i said i was a little anyway (after looking up what ddlg stood for). Throughout our relationship, we experimented with lots of things, both sexually and nonsexually. I fell in love with the lifestyle. I had always acted kinda like a little, but I didn't know there was a term for it.

I started getting into collecting toys, but didn't want to be one of those stuffy grouch collectors who never takes anything out of the box because money and realized I liked the idea of PLAYING with my toys. I started engaging a lot of other urges to behave young, just because it felt right to me. Eventually, while looking for "adults who still play with toys and color" on the internet to find a community of people like me, I happened to discover CGL/DDLG. I ended up liking the idea of it the more I read about it.

I talked about it with a partner who also experienced what I experienced and we both kinda just...dove right in. Now they're my part-time caregiver (they're a switch and our lives are hectic, so it's not a 24/7 thing) and it's been a fun journey. I'm a fussy person, but I certainly learned a lot about my submissive tendencies over the last year or two and I'm pretty happy to have found my "thing." DDLG specifically has been nonsexual for me, personally, but it's definitely a kink I enjoy and fits right into my original BDSM preferences. :>
