Need Kitten sound ideas!!

My Daddy, after I've normally done something he likes or I was told and he calls me a good girl, has told me to purr for him a couple times now! I love it and think it is sooo adorable but I can't make purring sounds:( any cute ideas on something I could do or kinda make that's my own 'original but not really' purr!?? I love my Daddy and wanna purr for him!!:3

Maybe just nuzzle your head on him and mew and meow ? Idk how the hell I do it but I use the back of my throat and can make a sound that's kind of like a purr Edited March 27, 2017 by Arya

Touch your tongue to the roof of your mouth, just behind your two front teeth and make a humming noise and practice kinda like how you would whistle.

My daddy wants me to purr too and I can't either, he he. So wish I could! I've instead nuzzled into to him and made a sort of high sighing, hmmmmm, maybe meowing type sound as I do it (hard to explain...we need sound on here! lol). He seems to like it....but I keep working on the purring on my own. So far having not much like sounding like a cat!!

I'm not a kitten, but I've had lots of actually kittens and cats. Very very young kittens can't purr, growl or hiss very well. The sounds tend to be kinda cracked and broken when they try to make them, so if you try to make the sounds and it doesn't come out "just right" that can actually be rather cute. Your still learning to mew <3

 

I really love cats and played with them a lot as a little kid. I also tried to copy their sounds alot. Can you growl? You know, how you kinda push air out of your throat well you do so? If instead of pushing air out, but suck it in, it kinda sounds a little more purrish
