MusicChicaMia Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 So as most of you know, I'm a Wiccan, basically a religion full of magic and witches. We believe that there is a spirit in the world around us and our religion is very elemental based. It's considered a Pagan religion. Anyhow, I was just wondering if there were any other Wiccans or Pagans on this site. If so, maybe we can talk about what our beliefs are? And if you don't want to publicly say so, you can go ahead and private message me if you wanna talk about it. (Just be sure to say in the comments below "Imma private message you" or something along those lines if you wanna talk about what you believe in, I love talking about religions and theology and such! And I won't judge!) Even if you're Christian or Jewish or even Buddist and wanna know more about this religion, you can talk about it here! not sure how to close this, soooo uuuuhhhhhhh yeah thanks! Message me if you wanna talk privately or if you wanna have an open discussion or just be like "Hey I'm Pagan" or "I'm Wiccan too!" go for it! No judging here! Blessed Be! 5
Guest Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 I'm not Wicca but I love the whole do no harm just wish for positive things for others. I am super into crystals and I have looking into Wicca (and pagan beliefs.) Very interesting. I am an Atheist but I really appreciate positive religions. 1
TheRatQueen Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I was raised Pagan by my mother! I'm extremely thankful to have grown up that way. My dad is Indigenous Mexican so I'm drawn more closely to my culture's deities, but I feel strongly connected to the Norse tradition per my mom. I don't really consider it witchcraft, but I work a lot with stones and herbs too. 1
mylittlesidewearsblack Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 i am a witch. i actually worship the Kemetic pantheon - Bast is my spiritual Mommy! But i have studied loads of different religions. 2
Guest GrumpyGeorge Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I dabble in paganism and runecasting, I could stand to know more 1
MusicChicaMia Posted March 16, 2017 Author Report Posted March 16, 2017 I'm a beginner wiccan myself, so I'm still learning a lot too. But I'm reading as much as I can in the subject. I can offer some good reads on the subject of you'd like
Guest BabyGlitterMilk Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I'm very interested in the actual practice of witchcraft, especially concerning botany, but I just have no belief in the supernatural. c': Make me a glorified botanist, haha!
Guest Loki Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I'm a generational witch mostly Celtic, but I've been thinking of learning about the Norse traditions. I'm so happy to see other witches <3 1
Mathilda-Chan Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Hi ! I'm not a witch, but I'm really curious about that. I life the fact that it is close to nature, to the elements. But I don't know much about it. If someone wants to teach me how crystals work, I would be very glad about it By the way, I'm an atheist, but still very curious about this kind of beliefs.. 1
Guest BigDaddyP Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Hi there all... I like to think that I hold an eclectic belief system, founded upon many positives of both the mainstream and unorthodox religions. Growing up, my family background was Catholic, but I always felt drawn to the gods of both ancient Greek and Roman heritage. Further study the Egyptian gods help more favor and their priests/priestesses holding ritual and ceremonial powers. The natural gods of Wicca and Pagan were fascinating and the powers possessed and harnessed through incantation and ritual were quite powerful and surprising. Preferring to take a more Spiritualistic approach to life and religion, I have discovered that I have clairsentience (can feel spiritual presence) and clairaudience (can hear spiritual voice). This predominantly is achieved when I read Tarot, or cast Runes. I would be happy to discuss my experiences with anyone that might be interested in discovering more. Love and Light, BDP 1
Guest Fros†beard Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I consider myself an occultist and as such, I try not to limit myself to just one school of thought. Not religious, but spiritual. Pantheist who firmly believes in reincarnation. If you ask me, Satan is the single most misunderstood character ever.It would actually be super refreshing to talk about this stuff with someone! 2

It would actually be super refreshing to talk about this stuff with someone! I totally agree with you on Lucifer being the most misunderstood person. He wanted to feel human and wanted to understand what the emotions and such were like. The Christian God was against it so much and hated that he did those things because I feel that Lucifer had a connection with Humans more than God ever did and God was jealous about that, so he punished Lucifer for that. I also agree with the reincarnation aspect of death. I see it as we all have souls and that our souls travel through the universe and when a new being is born we are giving to that new being to live inside of them (slightly like how the Host by Stephanie Myers was with her main character). I am also "not religious, but spiritual."

Love and Light, BDP I'd love to learn more from you, seeing from your response you seem to know a lot on the subject. I have done a lot of reading on the subject and am getting an understanding from it, but I feel it's better to have an individual to also help those with questions. I see myself as a mixture of Eclectic and Dianic (if that can be a thing, which i assume it can be). The Dianic I'm speaking of is the one that isn't full on feminist, but the other one (i know there's two parts of Dianic lol).

I was like that too but I had a feeling that there was something there watching over us, I just had this sensation, this feeling, that someone(s) or thing(s) were there. If you're willing to learn, you can. There are also parts of Wicca that don't really see there as being a God and/or Goddess, so you could always try those. Just a suggestion, but those of us here would love to help you with understanding how crystals and such work!
Rock_N_Roll_Writer Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 I'm not Wicca but I do practice witchcraft. I'm actually a Norse Neopagan, currently focusing on Loki and Bragi (Loki, because I'm genderfluid, and Bragi because I'm a composer). 1
MandyMoon Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Hey so I seen you in chat talk about Ostara so I was curious if you were pagan and I'm glad to see my hunch was correct. As of now I identify as pagan, but am drawn to many wiccan aspects. Also buddhism and taoism. I was curious with your wiccan interest if you collect crystals? 1

Just starting a crystal selling business actually hehe. Sorta a passion of mine. ^.^
Guest Tsubaki Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 I don't identify with any religion but I think they all have lessons to teach. I'm just not interested in all the dogma at the moment. However I am interested in learning about how other religions view spirituality and how they understand God. I'm not sure what it's called but I believe that there is God in everything and so everything is God... that's about as far as I've gone but I'd really like to get into sensing and using energy (with crystals, herbs, spells/mantras/prayer etc) and harnessing peace so if anybody could point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful 1

The cool thing that I like about Wicca is that you can have multiple beliefs. So you can mix Wicca with Christianity if you'd like or you can stick with the origins of the religion. We do debate about what we believe, but we are all also very respectful of each person's beliefs and how they view the world. That's the thing that made me look to Wicca in the first place because of how accepting the religion is as a whole. Wicca is a very earthbound religion, we work with the Earth and see her as a divine person.
Guest tarynsm Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Hello Eclectic witch here. I was interested in Paganism since I was a young child but only came to realise what it was 10 years ago now. I love love love my crystals and have been a practising witch for around 5 years, even had our Hand fasting a year ago on Beltane. I don't follow any specific path but I do have my deities, The Morrigan and Hades, that I try to work with every day. I also am able to sense spirits and give readings (when they come) and have been trying to develop that a bit more. If anyone wishes to chat then feel free. Hope you had a Blessed Ostara Edited March 22, 2017 by tarynsm 1

MusicChicaMia Posted March 23, 2017 Author Report Posted March 23, 2017 Are there any online resources to learn more about Wicca or witch-craft that you guys can recommend? I is interested now Yes! I have tons of them!! http://www.thewhitegoddess.co.uk/index.asp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicca https://wicca.org/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/paganism/subdivisions/wicca.shtml there's just a few for you
plastic ✩ nymphet Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 i'm a witch !!! i have always been interested in paganism since i was very young. i love nature so much, and i love reading about religions and mythology in general, my heart will always be in wicca i can't identify more and feel more comfortable with any other religion, since wicca is the most open to what i've always believed it's like it's meant for me, you know ? i think many of you feel that way too ! btw something that's bothering me a bit is how wicca and paganism has become popular with people who don't understand what it means... i think it takes a little bit of meaning when people are using the terms anywhere for anything what do you think about this ? 1
Little.Wolf Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 Pagan here, nice to see others around!
