It seems to me, that a lot of people only want to play, I've met a few domme's off tumblr and after I get to know them, they will be dominate with me in convo, like a gentle domme, calling me sweet boy, cuddles, hugs, etc.. but they only want me to be there when it suites them.  I feel like most of the time the more disinterested I am the more they like me and I don't like playing games!  It's already  hard enough to find a mommy dom, domme, or a caregiver as a guy, this makes it way worst!

I'm sorry you have had to deal with that. I know it's never fun to feel like you are being taken for granted. It really sucks. I am sure you know you are worth way more than that and you deserve to be treated with love and kindness, not a toy to be put away when it's no longer conversation to play.

Keep yourself out there and don't lose hope! Because of the "popular" notion of DDlg (and variants) the community is attracting whole sorts of folks who don't actually belong here. They come for the thrill, or the mistake that's it's all a game, or they think it's about pedophilia (like WTF?) or they're just trolling. There are real Caregivers (and real littles!) out there.

I'm sorry you've had this experience. Unfortunately with Tumblr and similar things, we get an influx of people into this community who honestly don't know/understand of what Caregiver/little is, at its very core. It is NOT a roleplay and it is NOT "oh let's do this for 30 minutes and then never act on it again". No, that's far from it. There are genuine Caregivers/Daddies/Mommy-Dommes out there, but you need to fish extra hard to find them!
