Guest Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 So when I was like 7 years old my school would take us to the YMCA and we would met kids from other schools. I watched The Magic Sword: Quest for Camelot, which my favorito character was a blind guy who was a badass. So I started to tell everyone I was blind. Now as an adult I was just like oh god why why why?! but yeah lol Anyone else got stupid / silly lies the told as a kid? 2
Guest Wally Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 hehe I remember telling weird, silly lies like that I told people I was allergic to pretzels (I just didn't like them) I tried convincing my sister that I was from Jupiter 2

Guest LilithxX Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 I lied and told everyone that i had a trampoline and then i told everyone and i cried so hard that my mom had to pick me up :3 I also usd to pretend i was a dragon and i would breathe fire on people when they tried to talk to me
BigCityLittleGirl Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 Lmao!! I used to hate my real name bc n one could pronounce it so I would make up a different name and wound up getting caught bc I couldn't remember what name I told who :/ But the silliest was telling people I was a black belt in karate and everyone believed me for some reason 1
Harley_Quinn Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 When I was younger I was told not to swallow my gum. I accidentally did and instead of saying that I told my poppy it jumped out of my mouth, down the rocks and into the water (we in new Hampshire in a moter home park by the water lol) and that it swam away. Not entirely sure why I said it xD 1
Aqu45 Posted March 4, 2017 Report Posted March 4, 2017 When I was in grade school people thought I was from Spain so I pretended I could speak fluent Spanish...then they wanted to hear me say something, and that was the end of that lie haha
sthvxo Posted March 5, 2017 Report Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) So this is kind of terrible but I'll share it anyways lol. During nap time in Kindergarten another kid kept putting his arm under my pillow over and over. Like, intentionally to disturb me. So I bit his arm. lol... After school my brother asked me why I bit the kid. I told him "I thought it was a turtle!" Edited March 5, 2017 by sthvxo 1
Nice_Daddy Posted March 5, 2017 Report Posted March 5, 2017 When I was in like first grade I knew that my mom had a scar the size of a quarter on her chest and a matching one on her back. We were on a field trip to a public pool where they were visible. So I was telling all the kids that she got shot by an indian and the arrow had went straight thru her. The teacher overheard me and I elaborated on the story. She called my mother over. (I later found out her lung had collapsed as a teenager and they had a tube going in the front and back .... I still like my story better!) 1
tayiie Posted March 5, 2017 Report Posted March 5, 2017 I lied telling my classmates I had penguins and other exotic animals on my balcony X'D I once lied about being to a different country. I pretended to know how to read (3 years old) at my daycare. Read on a milk carton though instead of reading I sang. XD everyone believed me though. I lied about knowing an older man who had two dogs. I said he was my great, great, grandfathers brother. (that would probably had made the guy 200 years old) I said that the dogs treated me as their puppy and dragged me to their dog food bowl every time I was over. Or would play with me like a dog. That lie held for a few years until my teachers found out. Though none of my classmates found out my lie.
Harley_Quinn Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 I thought of more but I was about 13 for these lol First day of highschool I told everyone i had a robot arm. One person believed me so everyone got in on it xD (It had started as a joke but this person thought we were dead serious.) When she asked to see it I was like not much to see the wires are all under the skin xD she probably still thinks it's true xD I went on Omegle. When I knew it was a bad website. I was 12 or 13. This guy asked to see my boobs (I was pretty developed and told him I was 16 lol) and I was like that's difficult cause I'm paralyzed. And then I carried this on from him to everyone after him telling them this long story about how I was raised on a farm and one day I was out riding my horse and he bucked me off and I ended up breaking my spine. Some people believed me lol others did not. I was just scared and didn't know what would happen if I said no 1
CrazyLittleBuggaBoo Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 (edited) I've always had this really huge things for twins. Not just like a sexual thing, I really am just intrigued and interested by twins. They fascinate me. I've always loved learning and hearing things about twins. As a young child, from around the ages of 4 til like 6 or 7, I had people convicted I had a twin sister. I would explain to people who ask about her that she had died in a pretty horrible way and that's why noone talked about it but I'm not even going to go into -_-' and it was too heart breaking for my parents to deal with. That's why noone ever talked about her. My parents split up too durng this time, so that helped with people not asking. But finally was busted when someone finally was brave enough to ask my mother... :/ On a more prouder note, When I was five I made a bet with my father's best friend. He said if I could learn to read he'd give me 5bucks. I had my older sister read me the same book everyday for two or three weeks and memorized the book. I had her fallow the words in the book with her finger so I would know what it looked like. Then I took the book and "read" it to my father's best friend. I fallowed the words in the book and had him convicted I could read. Until at the end of the book he noticed I was holding the book upside down. I got the 5bucks for being able to pull off such a good scheme Edited March 21, 2017 by CrazyLittleBuggaBoo 1
MrWrongUk Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 I hated eating vegtables so i used to hide them under pillows...in my pockets and all safe for work places. You cant play out untill you eat? Cmon mum in 12 i got this lol
CrazyLittleBuggaBoo Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I use to lied about my age all the time. My father actually started this. I've always looked a few years younger than I really am, I was a pretty small child and my father could be pretty cheap at times. Why pay more when you can possible get it for less? You know how most restaurants have special prices or deals for children under a certain age?(or did in the 90s) The cut off age is usually 5, you know the children eat free or half priced kinda deals. I was able to pull off getting these kinds of specials until I was 9. Plus getting away with it 40% of the time when I was 10. At restaurants that have kids menus and the activities/coloring page place matts. I was able to get away with getting both the menus and activity matt and crayons without a second thought until I was 16 when people started asking "Isn't a 12year old a little too old for this". and the special kids desserts. This wasn't just restaurants or places to eat. Movies, shows, parks, events. All usually have children's specials or lower children's prices. I remember going to a couple shows and events that where only for young kids and I was like 8. But it wasn't just that. I've been 10 cents I was 7 and 16 cents I was 10. Making me able to get into movies and shows I might have other wised be a little to young for. Many some rides like haunted houses and junk. ((I don't know if the county fair works the say everywhere, but on Fair Day if I was able to get a hold of the tickets they give you in school I can still get in free as a school kid XD sorry just saying lol)) I would convince teenagers and young adults I was 16 by using the skills I learned and the true stories of father taking advantage of my youthful looks to safe money so I could hang out with them instead of kids my own age.
FluffyStuffy Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 I never really lied as a kid since I didn't see the point but now-a-days I sometimes get people who say I look like a 10-14 year old when I'm with one of my friends and I'm almost 20. Instead of telling them, nah in a grown woman, I just roll with it since it's nice to look younger. 1
