What makes a sweet person

I was asked recently how I am such a sweet person.....Since that day I have had a bit happen and bit to think about....

 

I think people are sweet because they understand the pain that can be caused by life, circumstances, and people, and choose to not inflict that pain on other people instead try to bring a bit of joy to others.

Sometimes you get enough bad in your life you strive and hope to find good and share good.

 

The sad part is most of the time the nicest or sweetest or happiest of people are those who have stories that are not told or shared and are what molded them to be the way they are.  Those people are a lot of times the most broken and most fragile.  Sometimes we do things that leave an everlasting impact upon others some people become mean and cruel because of it and others become sweet and kind.

 

Just a random thought.  Remember to be kind to those around you.

This is very true everyone asks me why I'm so nice and sweet but I simply reply "I know what it's like to walk a mile in your shoes with nobody helping me."

Very true. I remember being told in elementary school "it's nice to be important,but it's more important to be nice." That stuck with me. I really do try to be nice to everyone I encounter. I don't know what's going on in their lives, they may be going through a painful time. If I can put a smile on their face and bring them some happiness, it makes me happy too.
