disney_babydoll Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Hai. So, I'm sad. My Daddy left to go to army boot camp (I am proud of him it's just tough cause he'll be gone for 6 months). I don't have any other little friends really so no one understands that I sometimes need to just be little. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice to help me feel more little and less sad without my Daddy around. Pwease and tank you.
BabyKittenPaws Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Hellooo you can message me and talk if you'd like. My daddy wants to go into military and it's super scary ;-; I'd be happy to listen xx
Himedere-Chan Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 You can just act super adorable around people, not in a flirty way though.. I act like a cat around people to stay happy.

Basic Training is supposed to last for up to around 4 months, so I am guessing you are including the AIT afterward as well? You probably know all of what I'm about to say, but I feel the need to tell you just incase you don't because it would be especially hard on you if you don't have time to mentally and emotionally prepare yourself for the Army lifestyle. I'm assuming you are married? You didn't say if it was Active Duty or not. If it's Active Duty Army, he will have what's called "CQ Duty" and "Staff Duty" periodically, which is a 24 hour work shift. He will also have "field exercises", which could last weeks or even over a month and generally communication is little to none while they are out in the field. Deployments can also happen. Even if he went somewhere like Germany or South Korea there will still be a delay until you will be able to be with eachother again if you decided to move there. If he gets in trouble and is given "extra duty", he will be working until around 9pm at night. It's also unlikely that you guys will stay in one place. Some things your Daddy can do to help you for future absences is: -Leave you a shirt that still smells like him -Leave you a voicemail message like "Daddy will be home soon, don't worry babydoll. Be a good girl and remember I love you" -Give you a written list of reminders like "Make sure you lock the door when leaving", "Don't forget to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner", etc. Some things you can do while he is away: -Look for DD/lg meet ups in your area -Look in Personals or post to find little friends that you can have playdates with -Go to playgrounds to swing -Make a really pretty picture for Daddy -Make your own storybook for him to read to you when he gets back -Try finger painting and doing lots of crafts -Play games like NeoPets sfw, Disney Games sfw, Pogo Games sfw -Do puzzles and activity books -Start watching a series like My Little Pony, Rugrats, or The Magic School Bus -Have bubble baths -Make a blanket fort to sleep in for the night, and don't forget to invite your dolls of course! -Draw with chalk on a sidewalk/driveway
