LittleGem Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 It's 4am for me right now and I can not make myself get to sleep >...< I don't know if it's my anxiety, generally not tired enough or what but I just can't get to sleep sometimes. Any tips / suggestions?
lilsnoopy Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 I have a go to piano playlist I listen to calm down or as background noise when i'm home alone, when I study, or to help my get sleepy before daddy calls and gets me to sleep. I think is good white noise for me because I get scared really easily so the less creaks I hear the better. Also reading can help. A good paper book would probably work best because the light from electronics can make falling asleep harder. Tip kinda: also make sure you do the necessities like eat, drink, potty, get stuffies, turn on nightlight, whatever you need to do before getting into bed so you don't have to keep getting up and down.
Mikaitaku Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 hot herbal tea and a set sleep schedule. I take my sleep meds at around 9pm and that is when I start to wind down and that normally works for me 1
