Guest AZDaddydom Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Ok littles, I have a question. My wife who is also my princess have been learning and trying new things with this ddlg dynamic. I am a little more into this than she is but she is warming up to it. We bought a couple of paci's and both are the adult size ones like you see at onsiesdownunder.com. I love the binky a lot and find it extremely adorable and cute and she knows it and will use it when I ask but said she doesn't care for it at all because one she doesn't have much of an oral fixation but more importantly she says it hurts her jaw to hold it in. Any of you have this problem, what are your solutions?
BigCityLittleGirl Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 I don't like packs either. Hate the diapers. She's probably more of a middle. You can wear a pack as an accessory still if you like how it looks, she can put it on a necklace or something but I wouldn't force her to put it in her mouth if she doesn't like it. She may not have an oral fixation, but maybe a different one I'm gonna go to the extreme and say try the literal opposite end haha maybe ask if she would like one of those super cute princess butt plugs with the little gem in it 1

She doesn't like the diapers but doesn't mind dress up and thinks some onsies are cute so I'm excited about that. I don't force her, she doesn't mind during play time but she knows I secretly hope she starts to like it one day which probably won't happen but it's ok. We actually do have other toys like that.
Princesspoopybutt Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 I get the jaw ache thing a lot if i use my paci for too long I still love it tho I am trying to find a solution but I thought that the size might not be right maybe idk but in your case try different things that are still for littles but not that little so like stuffys or different kid toys
ccbabygirl Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Try your best to get her into "little space" give her child snacks and meals: cheez its , little cookies , yogurt (spoon feed too) , mac n cheese , (make her eat veggies if she worries about health), chicken noodle soup, nuggets, cheerios, apple sauce, spagehttios , or whatever daddy makes order her kids meals at fast food and restraunts that allow it (ONLY IF THE FOOD SHE WANTS IS ON THE KIDS MENU , IF NOT LET HER GET WHAT SHE WANTS) , put a bib on her give her a baby bottle and baby paci's these help with the jaw pain ! Use the baby size stuff not adult , go to walmart for cheap baby paci's and baby bottle , baby spoons and even some baby cookies taste good and those little gerber puffs are like flavored cheerios! let her choose what bottle type she wants and what color or theme paci's if she is a middle get her a sippy cup or water bottle with a kid theme on it. Buy a baby high chair and see if she fits in it , bring back if not, that what me and daddy are getting helps with mind as a little. We are also gonna see if i fit in : -A stroller -A car seat -A changing table -baby bouncer seat -Crib or tent with crib mattress inside Goodluck just be patient 1
CrazyLittleBuggaBoo Posted February 25, 2017 Report Posted February 25, 2017 If a binkie is hurting her jaw try a different size. Adult sized binkies have a few different sized nipples, just like baby binkies do. You might have to buy a different sized nipple. Baby binkies are cheap, at least compared to adult sizes. You might want to give them a try instead. I'm a small person, 5'2. I'm able to use baby binkies without them causing me pain. Perhaps instead of being too small, it is big. A nice toddle sized binkie works fine for me. New nipples are always a bit hard and uncomfortable, after a few days of use the nipple will be broken in and feel softer. There are also different styles of nipples, maybe she's have less trouble with a different style of nipple.
