Hello there ! 

 

My cat is weird. I'll start off by saying that hehe ^-^ Lector , my oldest cat acts like a doggo. He always has because I just kind of raised him like he was a doggo , he fetches , sits , he can roll over when he isn't being sassy , and all of his personality just says "doggo". 

 

This weekend , I stayed in bed a little later than normal. Lector is like a little alarm clock , if Daddy or I don't get up at the times we typically do during the week he will get us up... by any means necessary. He has pawed at our faces , pulled covers off of us , placed wet toys on us that he has dunked in his water bowl , you name it.

 

This weekend was a whole new level ! Lector tried to paw my face to wake me , but I just rolled over and said "I'm tired Bubbys" (his nickname) and he stopped.

 

OUT OF FREAKING NOWHERE , HE STARTED PULLING MY HAIR ! WITH HIS MOUTH !!!!!!!

 

I had my hair in two dutch braids and he literally put my hair in his mouth and started pulling my hair to get me up !!!  This was one of the most silly things he has ever done and I thought it was so weird , cute, and human like that I just had to share it and started making me wonder....

 

What are weird things your pets do ?! Cute , weird , strange , I don't care share a story with me about your pet like mine ^-^

 

It can be a cat , doggo , lizard , fish , bunny , chicken , any bird , any animal !!

My kitty cat used to do that!!! If I didn't wake up and feed him when he was ready, he'd start eating my hair!!! It was the worstest way to wake up in the morning

My dog acts very cat like. She loves climbing up high and sleeping up there. She loves rubbing up on peoples legs. She licks her feet clean ALOT lol

My brother has a bearded dragon who loves my cat. He'll sit and wait until my cat falls asleep. Then he'll walk up to or jump at him so he can lick his nose.

 

He'll touch his tongue to my cat's nose just enough to tag him. It's as if he's saying, haha gotcha.

One of my fave pet stories: I used to have a collie. When we got our lil bb kitty he would treat her like we do! He would PET HER. PET THE FREAKING CAT. (He has also done this with little doggos he had play dates with.)
He would also get her cat nip mouse and bring it to her. 
He was very hoomin lol. 
Also very protective, if anyone new was in the house, he would lay on my feet, facing the stranger until he trusted them.

One of my fave pet stories: I used to have a collie. When we got our lil bb kitty he would treat her like we do! He would PET HER. PET THE FREAKING CAT. (He has also done this with little doggos he had play dates with.)

He would also get her cat nip mouse and bring it to her. 

He was very hoomin lol. 

Also very protective, if anyone new was in the house, he would lay on my feet, facing the stranger until he trusted them.

I am allergic to cat so I started to pet my cat with my feeet instead of my hands... and my cat loves it.

 

The weird part is that when he wants mommy to pet him he goes near her and pet her with his front paw... but when he wants me to pet him... he comes near me and pet me with his back paws.... like it is not only asking.. he is showing us what he wants!! LoL ...

Not a fan of kitties I'm allergic and they kinda scare me D:

I'm a dog person. I have a Pomeranian. She's a little diva and everyone who has met her loves her. She's my puff bill side kick! I used to have two pit bulls, lovely dogs but we're put to sleep bc they bit a family member who was harassing them. Sorry that was sad!

I wish I was super rich I'd give so much away to shelters for animals!

I have two dogs.  A pretty bonded pair. An older female boxer and a male doxie.  He is such a little chewer! (We had lost a couch, two chairs and coffee table the first three months after we had rescued him).  Everytime we would come home to a new disaster he would run to her and she would stand over him and do a little howling routine I had taught her to entertain my nephews.  She literally did the cutest thing she knew to protect him and help us not be so mad!  It's 4 years later now and she will still "mediate" if he is in trouble.

This topic is awesome and deserves to be re-opened.

 

When I was about seven years old I raised a cat and named her Pretty.  She was not very social, but she would come running at the sound of a Pringles can being opened or a bad of popcorn in the microwave.  Pretty liked salty foods so much that she would stand on her hind legs and beg for these treats by jumping up and down.  She had a bit of an obesity problem, most likely my fault because I enjoyed showing friends and neighbors the amazing trick of the salt-loving cat.
