Why is everybody taller than me!?

I'm 18 years old and I'm still 5 foot 2 inches! It's like I havn't grown since I was 11 years old!

When I search up girl celebs, they are all giants! Around 5 foot 5-9! It's not fair!

I still get seen as a kid by both kids and adults, they think I'm only 12-14 years old! I get not taken seriously enough because I'm seen as cute! Or one of the kids! It's like i have no respect or I'm being seen as an annoying little midge!

My mum was a short person but she was effected by diabetes growing up, I have not got diabetes but I did have a bulimia/anerexia when I was 9 years old which lasted about 3-6 months. I'm not sure if that is going to contribute to my height or not make much of a difference, but girls who are 5 foot 5 going on about how short they are just piss me off!

I'm sure I'm the only girl who is under 5 foot 5! I can't fit into ABDL diapers as a result and I'm still too big for kids clothes!

I wish I was your height. Why is everybody shorter than me? Even men. I'm 5' 8.5" and I wish I was small and little, I'd give almost anything for it. I'd switch heights with you if I could. I've always had to the bottom of the pyramid, the 'boy' in a class of girls, because I was always the tallest. I had to fetch things and I never got to be lifted in gym cheerleading week, carried anywhere, or anything feminine. It's not fair for me either! I'd switch heights with you if I could. I really would. I'm the one that has to change the light bulbs too. It really hurts my feelings of femininity and being little and I've struggled through a lot of bullying and such.

I think height doesnt effect how beautiful and feminine you are. Embrace it!

Im sure you are just as feminine as myself or any other little little (tehehe see what I did there?). Im sorry you have had bullies along the way and I do understand that everyone has different opinions and your feelings are totally valid but honestly, you dont need to be small to be feminine! You just need to be you!

height is irreverent, it has no baring on who you are or what dwells inside of you. Have you ever seen a tiny bird chase off a hawk? You don't have to let being short or tall be defined by physical size

It's totally okay! I'm barely 5'1 and I am like 95 lbs. lol I get mistaken for a child all the time. Embrace it! :)

I understand where your coming from! I am 5'2" and 85 lb. I always get asked my age at work and in public by random people, most of the time they laugh at me because they thought I was 14-16 y/o :(

When people see you as someone younger they definitely treat you with less respect and for some reason they think its ok to make fun of you.

Still wear the same clothes from middles school too  :p which is an upside! Less money spent  :D

I know some people have a lot of trouble loving their own body, whether your big, small, curvy, skinny or whatever body you have we all struggle with what we have because we can never have what other people have.

I get really jelly of girls with curves and bumps a lot, but I've accepted that I can own my body  . I hope everyone on here can one day look at their physical self and really smile at the mirror.

Warm wishes to everybody with self image problems and hopes to loving yourself.

I'm 5'2 and honestly I'd be so much happier if I was actually shorter...

and an other thing, your 18. Your going to be seen as a child because you still are young. I'm 27, and even all throw your 20's your going to be seen as a "child". In the long hall of life, even 20's and early 30's are still viewed by people older as "children" because we are the younger ones.

I wish I was your height. I know people are saying height doesn't matter but being small would be amazing in making me feel little.
