Let down x a million

When I'm doing something and I have an idea of what daddy's response will be, "what a good idea" "clever girl" "aww that's really sweet babygirl", just being supportive.

I just told him I was drawing a picture for his friends birthday and showed him it and he completely blanked me! Not a glance, word, nothing, eyes glued to the TV, I waited about 30 seconds to see if he'd turn round, still nothing, so I put the picture down and just feel let down times a million!!! All because I was expecting positive feedback and not being ignored...

Anyone else? -.-

My daddy is very new to DDLG so I don't know how he would react if I did the same thing. Even when I'm generally colouring I get the feel he's still a bit o.0 I'm sorry to hear that you've been ignored though. That's something I would not tolerate. In DDLG world and out of it. Discuss it with him. I can understand why you feel let down. I'd actually be full on hurt by his actions (but that's me and I'm a sensitive soul!)

Men, we don't multitask well to be fair, he probably didn't mean to ignore you at all :)

Truthfully I know this isn't helpful... but he may not have even heard you.

I know my husband/Daddy does that sometimes and he means no harm by it. Like PapaMax said... men don't multitask well. Try again and see if he responds, if not bring it up that it hurt your feelings.

Oh dear, I hope he wasn't ignoring you because that's a no no. A little totally relies on daddy's attention both for approval and correction.

I'd probably start poking him, distracting him from the TV and possibly annoying him XD
