Seeing Daddy again soon!!!!

Recommended Posts

So in two days (Sunday) I'm going to see Daddy again. I'm super excited, he came over to visit in October, he met my parents so now it's my turn. I'm super excited though and I can't wait!!!

However, I'm flying on my own, for the first time ever.

I'm flying from the UK to Toronto where he's gonna meet me.

Any tips to not be so nervous about the travel?

What if I slip into Little Space on the way over? I need to adult.

Have any Littles experience this themselves?

I guess I'm just looking for others stories and advice.

Thanks guys

Okay! I understand the nervousness, what you need to do is, focus on what you have to do, ask your parents for confirmation on what to do, from getting your ticket to getting on the plane, that's what I do, and sometimes I write it down, my mum will give me instructions and it really helps me to understand what I'm supposed to be doing.

I have gone into little space while travelling, which is why I always pack prepared, iPad for coloring, pencils and colouring book, sweeties, Capri sun (a bit more publicly acceptable than sippy), or I''ll have some Disney films downloaded onto my laptop, I'll have my favourite blanket, and my travelling teddy. No one will care. I always have my travelling teddy, it's a comfort and no one stares.

What I'm saying is, if you go into little space, then go into little space, as long as you have your check list of what to do so you know what to do/where to go next.

Hope I helped :D I have the same issues haha.

I flew by myself a couple of years ago, I was really nervous but everything was really so simple. :) If you have the option to check in online then that makes it even easier as all you do when you get to the airport is drop your bags off then go through security! I distracted myself by watching stuff and listening to music and I even slept a little. Don't be scared to ask for help if you need it from anyone, remember the cabin crew will have come across hundreds of nervous people, my mom is terrified of flying so when she gets on the plane she lets a crew member know and they are always helpful and accommodating. I bet once you're on the plane the excitement will start to kick in anyway. Hope you have a wonderful time! xx
