We can't be online at the same time?

So me and daddy live together and we have the laptop, iPad and I use my phone to come online. He was on the laptop, looking through my things, seeing what I've been upto and I was looking through the forums on the iPad, then he liked one of the things I did and was going to comment on it, but it signed me out when I went to see it and it turns out he was using my profile, somehow? Which is weird because I saw his username at the corner then it was mine. 

 

Does anyone else have this problem? We aren't usually online at the same time anyways because I'll show him a post occasionally from my log in.

You'll both have the same IP address if you're conecting via the same router. Contacting a mod will be the best help here.
