ButterscotchBunny Posted January 25, 2017 Report Posted January 25, 2017 I'm curious if anyone would like to play a forum version of the party game Mafia or Warwolf? Maybe we can even brainstorm ideas for some way to include ddlg stuff! ^o^If anyone isn't sure what i'm talking about its this game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(party_game) However we could play it in the forums by using PM's and stuff. c: I played it in other forums before and it was a lot of fun especially when you remake the game for a different theme.
Tasha-Pasha Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 Hi Butterscotch Bunny, Yesssss!!! I would totally be up for this! I have played this before on other sites and it is super fun!
gah!ghost Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 I'm not sure how Werewolf would work via text since it's a game largely built around face to face interactions.
ButterscotchBunny Posted January 29, 2017 Author Report Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) I'm not sure how Werewolf would work via text since it's a game largely built around face to face interactions. Well depending on the amount of players its might be best too add a few extra roles and interactions. Since games last a couple days It can be boring to have "villagers" that don't do anything except lynch votes. So the game become more about finding evidence and deceiving people. Also since you can private message other players a lot of conversation and players teaming up can happen behind everyone's back! Every phase of the game will last 24 hours, so everyone can get their actions in no matter what the time zone, and all roles/actions/votes are done during private message, their will be a main thread were everyone can talk and the GM will post the results of every phase. Its really fun, but It doesn't seem like a lot of people are interested. ;_; Edited January 29, 2017 by ButterscotchBunny
