I don't have an actual caregiver, but I like to imagine Jane Lynch being mine, and when I do I refer to her as Neenee.

My so will call me Daddy when he's little or wants to be, or mainly over text. Sir if he's being polite, asking for something, or of I ask him to do something. He also calls me master when he's deep in subspace! Not in littlespace though!

He also calls me Bubby when he's super little and I think it's adorable <3

Rare occasion I'm little or in subspace and/or he wants to Dom, I call him Daddy primarily or Sir.

We both also have DID and while I haven't taken care of his sprout yet, he has met mine and she calls him Sir or Teddy. She holds a lot of trauma with parental figures so avoids Daddy or anything like it!

I personally love matching nicknames for me and my partner. I especially love ddlg/cutsie themed ones that aren't daddy.

Kitty and Boo

Woody and Bo Peep/Jessy

Princess and Dragon/Knight/Prince

Big Bear and Baby Bear

The possibilities are endless, find a pair of characters from you two's faaaavorite movie to watch together and see if you like those couple's names!

Hopefully these help!

I loove matching nicknames from little themed movies and things like

Kitty and Boo

Woody and Jessy/Bo Peep

Big Bear and Baby Bear

Mario and Peach...

the possibilities are endless! Think of your favorite little themed movie and choose two matching names from there, that way it is special to the two of you!

Hope this helps!

Depends on the person, really! Besides daddy, I like to say sir and mister. When I'm feeling little, I could say cute names like fwuffy and fwuffybutt.

I like "old man" or "mister". I agree in some circumstances the use of 'daddy' may have an uncomfortable similarity with a reference to actual biological dad, rather than the play partner, particularly for those of us who might have an actual daughter.

Cg: usually teddy/teddy bear

other: With others that I do not know well I usually use mister in a form to be respectful to a stranger.

Dada ofc but I also like fun ones like Zaddy or Dommy. Also unique honorifics like "Bear" before or after a title. Great for Non-binary partners or just partners who don't feel like traditional titles fit them.

It really stands out to me how rare 'father' is in this topic. I've seen it twice.

I love father. Unlike sir it refers to specifically the male parent (relationship), but it is a little bit distant and cold. It is extremely formal, appropriate in forgotten times where parents were respected and revered.

"Yes, father! I will do that father."

It just resonates respect.
