this is such a perfect topic for me!

i don't identify as a little, & only one of my partners identify as a daddy specifically -- the rest were either Dominants or just Caregivers, so the term "Daddy" was never used in my relationships, but there were all mostly Caregiver dynamics!

i currently have The Giant, Kovu, & Dollmaker.

i've had:

Boss

Bubba

Bear
Professor

Doctor

Mister

Alpha

i tend to call my daddy daddy, but whenever i don't i usually call him dada! dada is a new one we've been trying out but he's not opposed to it. i'm still getting used to it but i think it's starting to grow on us.

Mr bubbles! I used to call my ex Mr Bubbles or Mr B after the big daddies in bioshock hehe. It was a joke for us but I also think it's pretty cute ^^

Lately I haven’t really wanted to call him Daddy...

Just because of stressors in my life kinda making me less interested in... anything?

But also don’t want to use his first name.

So I’ve called him Sir or Mister -surname-.

"Väterchen" or "Vati" means daddy in german.

But its more like the cute-ish version of Vater aka father so it may sound funny. I usually like to call mine just papa.

Tbh I'd never call him king or sir because it got such a harsh undertone and I'm kind of too soft for that.

oniichan means brother in japanese i wouldnt normally use this one when referring to daddy

-Senpai

-Oniichan

-King

-Prince

-God

-Master

-Mister

-Sir

-His name and add 'bear' 'lion'

The best nicknames are the ones that come naturally though.

In my multi-year relationship with a truly wonderful little girl, I admired her real dad very much so I didn't feel comfortable calling myself her daddy. Instead I called myself her Guardian,

It turned out to be a good choice because she is married now and expecting a baby but we still keep in touch and the role of Guardian still fits perfectly.

My caregiver doesn't like to be called Daddy so we had to have an alternative. I settled on calling him Dragon because he can be adorably (to me anyway) grumpy and is downright obsessed with dragons. It's tough finding a title/nickname that they haven't had an ex use at some point so I certainly get the challenge!

great thread. (most girls i've dated or whatever refer to me as "my old man" in public)

but yes terrific thread. take it from me: nothing stops a Christmas dinner at your family's house faster than your fiance absentmindedly blurting

"OMG Daddy, that's, like, a TON of horseradish"

so alternatives are a smart idea.
