I call my Big a mixture of names depending on my mood, but here's a list of alternative names for Bigs and littles from a blog I follow. Their other content is really great, too.

Big Man was a good one and I have an affinity for Harley Quinn... so when she called me Mister J (my name is John) that was insane! hahaha

I have been confused for Daddy from time to time

I have been called:

Papi

Kin

Sire (but I admit that had a whole lot of something else mixed into it)

Is anything relating to "Daddy" off-limits? If not; you should try calling him Dad, it might seem a little weird at first but I love called my Daddy Dad more than calling him Daddy.

I took his whole name and smashed it all up and it made me think of candy, so...

Minty

Daddy

my Daddy

Mista Daddy nommy butt Sir (this is equivalent to "can I have it pretty please with a cherry on top?")

Sir

Mister

my Prince

my King

I'm allowed to call him cute stuff as long as I keep it respectful, hence Mista Daddy nommy butt Sir. :p

My ex-little used to call me B along with Daddy. I loved it :)

I can see how ‘Daddy’ may not work. Sometimes if my princess is feeling she calls me Papí.

We’ve also used: Papa, Dada, Sir, Mister, Mistah, Mr. Lastname, Mr. First name.

My daddy is pretty open to any pet name but we mostly use "Daddy" and "Buhbuh". I've only ever used "Papa" when I'm really stressed

Otōsan for a male, okasan for female and for non-binary Zaza, which is like mama or papa but with neutral Zs.

I have also had a history of child abuse and PTSD and every caregiver I've had has understood. I usually have us test out names until one fits for both of us.

I have an Uncle Joey (a best friend that lives very close) who takes care of me when my S/O isn't around when I go into little space.

My S/O and I have tried Daddy, (dropped it within the hour after a panic attack) Dada, (too baby) Papi, (didn't feel right) and we are currently trying Papa. It's doing better than the rest. It's lasted a week. But I usually call him by his first name or make a noise or say "hey" to get his attention.

Yes, it's just a name and, as you can see on this thread, others use those exact names. It's up to you and him to decide what's right for you.

I don’t currently have a CG, but I would consider the nickname “Mr. Bubbles” from Bioshock, as it was the nickname for the big daddies. Otherwise, nicknames from inside jokes are always the best. I called a crush “Sparky” because that’s a nickname for electrical engineers, which was his field of study.

I have been a Daddy but before that I was refered to as Master. My partner then had definite little traits but she identified more as a kitten/pet than a little. She also did not like to use "Daddy" which I completely understand.

Both terms imply authority, and both warmed my heart when said with love and respect. However, to some "Master" has negative slavery implications. Obviously, forced slavery is not ok, but looking past that the core of being a "slave" is not a negative in my book. A slave is essentially a person owned by another. When given willingly ownership is a beautiful thing to me, but I never did or want to refer to her as slave. She was (and really always will be) Kitten, Kitty, or Princess to me.
