I'm new to this and was wondering if there are other titles other than "Daddy" and "Master"?
Posted

there are many titles you  can call him ... Daddy, Sir, (his name), a special name such as bear or tiger... what you call your Caregiver is something you need to sit down and discuss with Him, asking what He would like to be called... hope that helps..

Hello everyone!

So, I am helping my friend who is new to the dynamic and has found a roadblock...

She and her husband are trying out DD/lg but she doesn'the necessarily like the term "Daddy."

What are some of the titles that you like being called or that you call your little ones?

Thanks in advance!

I called my last Daddy "Bear" alot of the time. I love bears, and I loved him.

Aside from Daddy and Papa and variations of those, some that I like are Tou-chan, Oji-chan, Senpai and Baba. But really any nickname you like and agree on :)

Daddy is the name I use for my SO most of the time, but when I'm feeling very little I call him my dragon mostly because of a conversation we had way back when we first started dating. I like calling him sir as well, and I'd like to start calling him master soon <3

I dont really call him Daddy unless I'm sucking up or pouting for something (but DADDDDYYYYYY).. Dominus (which is master in Latin) is the obvious one, He also gets Sir, Boss, Bossman, and just plain Master. In public I normally call him Boss and he shortens Dolly to just Doll.

I've used Professor a lot. One Dom had me call him Doctor, but I found that awkward. Daddy works fine for me unless my SO is significantly older than me...then it gets weird.

I called my Daddy "Baboo" for a long time when we first started seeing each other. I don't really know where it came from but I kept it up for a long time. Now he is mostly Daddy or Dadda when I am super little or super tired. I still call him Baboo a lot and Sir when he tells me to do something or asks me a question (yes Sir/ no Sir) and sometimes he is Bear or Panda. I don't like Master personally. And of course there are plenty of other alternatives, this is just what we use.

I like Teddy and Bear personally. :) They're cute and strong alternatives to Daddy

Other than daddy, I call my dom dada and baba (bah-bah). Honestly I just looked up daddy in other languages and picked the ones that were cute. Baba is daddy in Chinese but it rolls off the tongue and is kinda fun to say.

I LOVE squishy! puppy is cute too!

I'm completely new to this whole thing and learning still, but "Squishy" has been my real nickname since I was a teen, it's irony I come here to find an alternative to daddy and find my own (rare) nickname, lol
