~LittleRaven~ Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 So I just saw a video of a lamp changing colors after you touch it from different places around the world and I thought that would be so cute in LDR for caregivers and their littles to let each other know that they're thinking of each other. So just wanted to share it with you all and see if you guys have/know of little things that help the relationship:) https://www.facebook.com/BuzzFeedDIY/videos/1112215132239051/
Guest Kittehmuffin Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 It's not so much an object for me, but what I find really helps is being consistent in times for talking/skyping etc. If a plan is made to talk a a certain time, stick to it. Of course things happen and sometimes talks etc have to be rearranged but if there is real effort on both ends to make the times arranged trust builds and it's always a highlight coming up, to know you can speak to them soon. 1
tayiie Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 That lamp seems really cool! Things I appreciate when being in a ldr is skyping, I honestly don't care what my daddy would talk about just hearing his voice before I fall asleep, or just hear his voice whenever is heaven to me. Bedtime stories are a plus, either through Skype or him sending me a file cause he may not be able to be there when Im about to go to sleep. Sending gifts is also appreciated something that has his smell is really cute and makes me feel like he is there next to me. Something I really enjoyed was that my daddy would have automatic answer on Skype so I could call him whenever. Sometimes I called when he was at work cause I really needed to hear his voice and sometimes I would call in the middle of the night if I was feeling upset, he would ALWAYS be there even if he had things to do so he couldn't talk to me all I needed was to see him or hear his voice and everything would be okay again. 1
