I think it is unfair that certain users tend to monopolize the chat room for their own personal entertainment.  These users do not create useful discussion threads, or make it easy for other users to join the fun.

I think it is important to take a stand against users who seek to take over community places like the chat room for their own reasons.

At the same time, I think there should be a concious effort on the part of all chat users to attempt to include everyone, and not to form cliches or to exclude people for any other reasons.

considering chat is for everyone, and encompasses pretty much everything and is the playground of the little. I don't see what you have to whine about. if you don't like what is happening in chat, you are free to leave or ask for a change of subject if the subject is bothering you. I lurk often in chat and I can safely say i have never seen you in it. not for long anyway.

Never seen you in Chat ...  Maybe your comment would be more true if you were spending real time in the chat...

I think Chat is very welcoming and inclusive ..  :) ...

that's it!

So it's inclusive when one person hogs the chat room?

I've been in the chat room before, and last year.  So thank you very much.

I have never experienced this and I come and go.

I don't see what you have to whine about.

I take offense at this.  Where else on this entire Forum do you see someone accusing them of 'whining' about an issue?  I brought up a topic that I thought was valid, and I find it insulting that you would not only discredit my idea, but use derogatory language in the process.

In the end, I guess I am the only user who is bothered by this type of behavior.  So be it.  I will stay away from the chat room.

And please, no more complaints about my complaint.  Thanks so very much.  If you don't agree, or have anything to add - don't.
