ziva vlad's kitten Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Just be yourself. Everyone's relationship is different so you have to find what works for you. Experiment and play around; encourage your little to be open and tell you what she likes and what she wants to try. If you come up with any good ideas, you can always ask her what she thinks of them. And sometimes things get awkward and that's ok. Just talk about it and decide if you want to try it again or not. Good luck!
cuppycakes Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 You should really take a look around the forums! These aren't always perfect, but they are usually a great starting point. HOWEVER, no forum topic can possibly take the place of communicating with your partner. Communication is key to any good relationship. Ask her what she wants you to do, really sit down and discuss it. That will be better than any forum you find. Here are some interesting links (it only took me maybe a minute and a half to find these) that might be a good starting point. Maybe both of you should look around here! It'd be a great opportunity for discussion and you can know what she agrees or disagrees to right away. https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/13913-how-to-be-a-good-daddy-what-littles-look-for/ https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/51-general-advice-for-new-daddies/ https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/5454-lets-discuss-healthy-caregiving/ https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/16034-schedulesroutines-for-a-new-daddycaregiver/ Best of luck to you
