Guest Sleepy_Little_Boy Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) Hiya! So recently I bought a few pacifiers and I've gotten really attached to sucking on them at night before and sometimes when I go to sleep, they're so comforting. Although sometimes when I suck on one for a longer amount of time, my front teeth hurt a little bit when I take it out, not too bad or anything just a small ache, So I was wondering do they push your teeth forward or anything? I used to have pacifiers when I was a kid up until I was 4 years old and my teeth turned out fine. Thanks <3 Edited January 11, 2017 by Sleepy_Little_Boy
madhattersangel Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 They aren't bad for your teeth as long as you're using one that fits your mouth. If you're using a baby paci, it can mess them up. So just make sure you're using an adult paci.
Magi Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Yeah I get the same problem, so I have to purchase some adult ones.
Guest Candy Minx ♡ Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 it's kind of important to use a paci made for adults as an adult. excess use of a paci can be bad for your teeth if you're using it 24/7 ( adult paci or no ), you CAN reposition your teeth even as an adult if you continue that type of behavior for months. there's also the chance of increase of cavities if your oral hygiene isn't on point and that's never good. i'd suggest a quick google search to check everything out yourself.
