Paci idea

I have always been interested in jewelry from buying and making. And I want your feedback on a gold paci with Diamonds set in them. But have a way to put the Silicon end on it so it would actually be able to be used. I feel making it would be straight forward. Even gold plating it please let me know what you think

It would really pretty. I don't use pacis myself but I think it would be super cute. Maybe with a pastel pink or purple bow wrapped around it too. ^^

If I were to make one though I'd start off with something like a metallic gold spray paint. Preferably one that bonds well to plastics.

I might try that first, but I am trying to make it out of stainless steel and plate it in gold. My friend works at a machining shop and would help me out. And setting diamonds into plastic is very very difficult

it's pretty, but is it functional? i use mine every night. and i chew sometimes, too. so it would hate to have to throw it away or something.

I would have it to be able to take the replacement ends. So when one gets a hole you are able to swap it out for a new one

I would look into using titanium instead of stainless steel.

This will reduce overall weight and give it added strength just in case the unthinkable happens and it is dropped.
