Tips for starting a new hobby

Happy new year everyone!! 

 

One of my goals for 2017 is to be more creative & take up a new hobby, except I don't really know where to start ^^; I have been thinking of taking pottery classes or learning to sew, but I am open to other ideas! Or just tips on how to pick up a hobby in general. 

 

And feel free to share anything you'd like to learn in 2017!! I'd love to hear other people's goals/resolutions as well ~

It depends on how you'd be most comfortable doing it and what appeals to you. You could look for classes in your area, if you'd like to learn that way or even DIYs on YouTube! It depends on what's most fitting for you.

 

I'm sure a simple Google search of ''creative hobbies'' would turn over a plethora of things to look through and choose from, and I'm sure you could choose more than one! If you find something you're really into then you could look to see if there are any classes in your area and if the thought of going to a class alone worries you, you could even ask a friend to tag along - I'm sure hat'd be fun.

 

My New Years Resolution is to have more trust. I can't remember who suggested a book called 'The Speed of Trust' but I'm currently waiting for that to arrive and hopefully when it does I'll be even more informed and motivated to keep up this resolution. Good luck with yours!

I find taking what you love already and incorporating that into it is fun. Say you like scarfs or maybe you want to learn how to make a small purse you can learn to sew or if you want to learn to paint you can paint anything you want, just look stuff up on youtube that's what I do.
