Guest Candy Minx ♡ Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) ✨ hey! okay so, while i've popped a google search to look for good ldr gift ideas i'm only so creative with making them into my own or even making them cg/l related. i think it'd be a pretty awesome idea to throw down some either ideas or things you've done for your daddies? feel free to add some things that may or may not be ldr related but that's what i'm currently nosing about for. o: this year for christmas i got little message in a bottle type things for my Daddy, there were about 100 or so of them, i added my own special messages to each of them and gave them to him when he came to visit me around new years. it was fairly easy on the wallet and fun to do. Antoinette Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 If you have any stuffies you could send him one! I sent my daddy a small white tiger, who I hadn't named and now is called Eddie. It makes me so happy to see him take care of Eddie and bring him to work with him and sleep with him. It's really adorable and he loves it too! I also gave him a super over-sized t-shirt that I used to wear (XL and I'm a S) and it smelled of me and fit him perfectly. I made him those letters that say ''Open when... ___'', and so for he loves the ones he's opened. It really is just personalizing things to fit what your partner would like and what's meaningful for you two. We both like BioShock too, he got me a Little Sister Funko Pop and I'm going to get him a Big Daddy one, and then he's gonna get me a Big Daddy and I'm gonna get him a Little Sister. cx 1
Guest QueenJellybean Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/79-gift-ideas-for-daddiesmummiescaregivers/?hl=gift+ideas I found this thread helpful, and there are a couple more out there like it! Good luck!
Daddy's_Babygirl Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Well we aren't long distance any more but when we were Daddy sent me a small penguin (my absolutet favorite) he sprayed his cologne on. I loved it so so much. We lost it in a move somewhere along the line sadly I'm sure you could do the same thing with body spray! Also one of Daddy and my favorites to do was call each other and leave each other sweet voicemails usually of us singing songs to each other. Sometimes I miss that now that we live together. I like the letters idea too... wonder if that would work as well not long distance...hmmm
Guest Candy Minx ♡ Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 @ xAnt - He just left yesterday and I sent him away with my Simba stuffie that I've had for AGES. At least, one of them.. Lion King obsessed here. I also recently got another one of his shirts. I had already actually started some 'open when ___ ' things which we're both super excited about. I suppose I meant craftwise gifts, something that I can make, I'd love to give more personal gifts customized for him and his likes but sometimes I just feel super limited not having much money. I want to say I'm really creative but I'm not how I used to be, lol. I currently can't work due to medical reasons so sometimes buying things are out of the question. But I was also sort of just interested to see what other littles do for their caregivers! @ Miss - Thanks! It was.. kind of helpful? I'm not sure I can properly put into words what I'm looking for but looking through ideas others have helps some. adding their own personal touches to gift ideas makes it a bit easier on me. @ Daddy's - Ahh! My Daddy sent me a penguin and a lion stuffy before we were dating, the penguin thing was originally a joke that turned into something really cute and now I'm madly in love with mine and it's the perfect shape for cuddling with every night.. a bit tmi but I get so excited about that even years later. I def. think the letter thing would work in an irl relationship, wanna know why? 'cause it's a cute af idea and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to do it! i saw one where someone decorated a really, really cute box and filled it with little open when tiny gifts, letters, stuff like that. you could do the same and just have him open it well.. whenever the card/letter/gift says :3
Daddy's_Babygirl Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I think I may try the letter thingy! I'm gonna take some time to plan it though because... well that's how I roll haha. If I don't plan stuffs it makes me nervous.
