UMbabygirl Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I am a little in a ldr poly dynamic with Mommy and Daddy. Me and Mommy have known each other for quite a while. I have just recently entered into a dynamic with them when before we were just friends. When we were just friends we would talk on the phone five sometimes six times a day. Now, due to the change in our relationship and scheduling most of our conversations are done via text. I am not a very big texter. I seem to lose a lot in translation. Since our relationship and form of communication has changed there has been a bit of a struggle in communication. I am a person who gets most of my understanding of a conversation through context and voice tones. As you know all of that, for the most part, is lost with texting. I am open to any suggestions or tips on how I can improve in understanding communication through text, as our situationsand schedules will not allow us to go back to as many verbal Communications as before. 1
madhattersangel Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) You could try to find an able that allows you to leave voice messages instead of texts? edit: Voxer has this feature in the play store Edited January 8, 2017 by AliceAngel 1
UMbabygirl Posted January 8, 2017 Author Report Posted January 8, 2017 Ooooo...i didn't think of that....even my traditional texting app and FB messenger (the 2 main channels we use to talk) have that feature. Thank you bunches.
