No "True" Way

The one true way is analogous with Puritanical Christians who held themselves up as having the one and only true path to righteousness.

Such a superior mindset is a self-aggrandising , narcissistic impulse screaming ‘I’m fascinating and virtuous, validate me’. It’s also a marker to frame you as judge and jury of the inferior heretics around you.

I’ve had a couple of incredible DDLG relationships that we sculpted together organically.

Had they approached me with a long menu of demands, we never would have enjoyed the journey of blissful discovery.

I definitely couldn’t be in a platonic relationship as I already have friends family (such as Brothers) for platonic relationships

I totally agree , DD/lg is a totally unique relationship , one size does not fit all. There are just so many aspects of it , one example may not fit all couples .I for one do not have a set way of being a Daddy. In my life I’ve had 3 little’s, each one totally different from the other   My way or the highway may be good for some but I like spice and a bit of brattiness , 😎. Peace to all !

I could not agree more with this post. I think the only one true way is whatever the one true way is for each individual couple. As stated in the original post. I think too many people want to believe that they are the one true expert, because we are afraid of admitting we don’t really know what we’re doing. because as humans there is no one size fits all. The so-called human nature is a fallacy. Just one man’s opinion.

Some great posts here and I am glad to say back up my own feelings and experience. When I was 'introduced' to being a Daddy it didn't come as the biggest surprise, but I didn't want to follow a script, just let things happen, as said a number of times by others it is all about what works ❤️
