Profile Customisation

Howdy, all

I'm called Ollie

 

I'll make this short & sweet

 

I was editing my profile, & I found it quite boring.

Thus, I began trying to think of cool ways I could really make it my own.

I'd like to get some ideas from all of you, & see what you all have done with your own profiles.

Perchance this may become a great resource for others, this thread. We may only hope.

 

Anywho, thank you for your time!!

I added a lot of gifs to it. Things I like, things that are me.

Oh my. I can't even seem to add a simple gif to my signature._.

 

How did you manage that, Miss?

I copy the linkadress of the gif (right mouse click on the gif, copy link adress), then I go to my profile, edit profile, edit my about me page, go to the icon Image (it looks like a picture), paste the link in it, click ok. It also works for the signature the same way.

I just made my profile really colorful and used different fonts and sizes. And through a few gif's in there to make it all pretty and sparkly.

I know I post pics here using the IMG code on tinypic but when I tried to do it on my profile it doesn't show at all :/ I feel like I tried all the different codes tinypic offers and none showed *cries* LOL! boring profile for me it shall be

for me I just paste the links address and save and it just shows up

I picked a theme and sort of went with it. I went with strawberries. So I found a background pattern I liked with strawberries, picked a couple colours and made a little "title" with my username and used those colours in the text. Also lots of cute strawberry pixels I found on DeviantArt (If you use those, you want to try and find some that are okay to use outside DA - some creators don't like their stuff used other places) 

 

I normally completely code profile layouts for other sites, so I really enjoy trying to make it as custom as possible. If you can make graphics of your own that helps with the custom factor.

When you are in the editing screen there is a little picture button, just click it and you can put in the url code to insert and image. To get the url code right click on the image you want and hit "copy image address" or similar (it's different for different browsers). On TinyPic you use the url they give you in the space for "direct for layouts". Hope that helps!

Do you mean the "direct link for layouts" option? I used that and all I see is the link not the actual picture maybe bc I'm on a mobile???

for example i want to upload this, i tried each of the side codes and they all show up as the code itself. none of the codes showed the actual picture on my profile. Please help me LOL i greatly need it
