daintylittledoll Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Hai in my last relationship I was blindsidedly cheated on. I'm not entierly sure how to deal with it? Do any other littles have any experience with this? I still feel attachment to my ex who cheated on me when I'm little i still wake up and immediately think to get him to fix it. I don't know how to break this habit as I want to move on, big me is ready to move on but little me isn't help? Edited January 2, 2017 by daintylittledoll
Guest Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) I have not been cheated on by a caregiver before , but I have in past vanilla relationships. Sometimes it's difficult to accept that someone we love can betray us and want to fix it or work it out. (After being cheated on I didn't care to try to fix it and just left). For some being little is letting down our guard and that total innocents and trust we place in our caregiver can also be used to hurt use even more deeply. Wanting to hold on can be normal for some , but it seems big you knows it's time to let go. Try to remember there is joy in treating yourself well and not letting others use and abuse your feelings. Try to be kind and give yourself lots of self love and time to heal. Edited January 2, 2017 by Arya 1
sighing Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 Sorry that you got cheated on. Your feelings right now are more or less normal given your circumstances. Give it more time and you'll find yourself thinking about him less and less. You're doing great so far. Just make sure you don't let yourself contact him during your times of weakness. Good luck.
stargirl Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 Healing a broken heart is a slow process that won't happen over night. Be kind to yourself, treat yourself gently, and take your time. With enough time this will happen less and less often until you don't think about him at all. Good luck!
