Names to call daddy in public

Ok, so my princess and I were talking about a name she can call me when we are around friends and family and just in public on general. She likes what Harley calls the joker in Suicide Squad, "Puddin" but she thinks that will be too obvious. Any ideas of a name age can use that is cute but not obvious that she is my princess.

Wouldn't what she calls you be better if its personal? It won't have the same kind of meaning if someone else suggests it.

I call my Daddy by his name in public. He uses my name or other common pet names used by just about everyone else.

Whatever she wants to call you won't matter. Nothing is obvious other then that she's trying to be cute. Or that she likes joker and Harley Quinn.

Harley calls The Joker puddin' in everything from the comics to *inhales deeply* Suicide Squad. Just sayin' ;p

Puddin' is a pretty reasonable pet name and with the popularity and glorification of uh... Harley and Jokers ''relationship'' puddin' is far from abnormal. Puddin' would be just fine. Or your name. Just keep it personal (but reasonable, as it is public!)

probably best if she comes up with it on her own. or between you. i call Daddy anything from honey, babe, lover, husband to Sir sometimes. and if people arent close enough to hear, Daddy. he calls me Princess, wifey, even little or little one. no one has ever noticed and if they did, i clearly didnt see or care.

I always call Daddy, Daddy. Apart from when I'm with my family. Then I've used his name.

I've been calling him Daddy when we're in public but I make sure that I do it quietly, or that no one is in our immediate vicinity. When we're around his family, I just call him by his real name. He usually calls me sweetheart or honey.

I use Daddy, unless it's not appropriate and then I say M, which is short for Master, but as His name begins with an M, it's convenient and people would never suspect anything; others even call Him M :p I also sometimes say Mr. B, because well...He is :) Just whatever you feel comfy with.

Thanks everyone, these all are helpful. It's not that we want someone to give us a name that go by but just curious what you all do. She has always used my real name in public or other common pet names like babe. But we wondered if any of you use daddy outside in public. She has used Daddy James but when are kids are around so it seems like she is calling my name on behalf of the kids, it's really cute. We just were talking about maybe a secret word to call me but I'm sure we will come up with one.
